The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The map shows the following year's southwest airport upgrade and reconstruction plans.

Generally, the plan is to upgrade the airplane's transportation capacity by building more terminals and infrastructures that can offer more service to passengers.

The current map illustrates eight terminals with a walkway for passengers to get on and off planes. However, in the future, the single terminal building will get a massive upgrade with a "Y-shape" terminal building reconstruction. In detail, there are about to build 12 new terminals. Only six old ones would be kept. With the new redevelopment of the terminal building, the walkway is about to be upgraded to a Carline due to the expansion of the building. Moreover, there is to build a shop in the building, too.

With more terminals, the airport is to serve more passengers. Right now, there is just one cafe in the departures hall outside the security passport control. In this plan, there would be a new bag drop in this hall. Moreover, the arrival hall is about to build another cafe, an ATM, and a Car hire spot. This redevelopment plan would level up the ability of passenger transportation and service of the southwest airport.
