Radio and Television Audiences in UK
The line graph shows the percentage of the population above the age of 4, during the month of December 1992, whether they watched TV or listened. The television was favored by most of the people after 1200 hours. In contrast, the Radio was favorite during the earlier hours of the day.
The day starts from 600 hours, at this time radio is favored by 6% of the people. The number of radio listeners increase swiftly and reach a peak at 900 hours, close to 30%. As the day passes, the quantity of listeners gradually decreases and by 200 hours, after midnight reaches a least, close to 2%.
On the other hand, initially no one watches television at 600 hours, as the day hours continue, there is a small rise in the percentage of viewers by 800hours, followed by a plateau till 1200 hr. After Noon the percentage of viewers starts increasing and reaches a maximum of 48% by 800hr, after 10 in the noon, the Television viewers start declining rapidly and reach 2% by 3 at midnight.
