It is clear from the chart that, there was a steady increase in population till 1940 where it reached 2200 million figure. Then it shows a sudden rise in the figures and peaked in 2040 with 8000 million numbers, after that it started to decline and hit the exact figure of 2000 (6000 million) in 2100.
The bar chart predicts the population in developed regions remain stable over period of 25 years. Whereas developing regions showed a completely different trend as it was increasing gradually year after year. In 2015 the population growth was just above 2000 million benchmark but it is expected to soar to a figure of 4000 million.
In conclusion, the population is expected to grow steady in a rapid manner till 2040 after that there will be a decline in worlds manpower. Developed regions keeping their population growth in a constant figure, while in developing regions it is showing a gradual increase.
