The table and chart denote the time both men and women spent at leisure and household activities in the year 2008.
From the table we can obviously see that both men and women spent the most free time watching TV, video and listening to the radio. Men's spent time is slightly more than women with an average of 137 minutes per day, whereas women spent 118 minutes a day doing those activities. Reading time remained nearly the same for both men and women, with roughly 18 and 19 minutes per day respectively. Sports is the lowest activities they spent time doing, with only 15 minutes per day for men and 11 minutes for women.
In term of household activities, we can clearly see from the chart that cooking and washing are the two activities that have the most time spent, with approximately 77 minutes per day for women and 35 minutes per day for men. On the other hand, women spent fewest time on repair with only about 10 minutes a day, men however, spent their fewest time on clothes washing and ironing, which an average of 11 minutes per day.
