the table below gives information about consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002

The table represent data collected from five countries about money expenditures in 3 differents categories (Food/Drinks/Tobacco, Clothing/Footwear, Leisure/Education). This information was collected in 2002 and the units are in percentage.

Overall, all countries show a similar behaviour, the mayorn expenditure goes to "Food/Drink/Tobacco" with some variations on each country, the smaller one is on the category of Leisure and Education with a much lesser percentage than in Food/Drink/Tobacco between both categories it is clothing and Footwear wich is slightly lesser more than Leisure and Education.

The countrie with more expenditure in food is Turkey with a 32,14% at the same time is the country wich more spent in Leisure and Education (4,35%) is worth mentioning that both categories does not have relationship, Sweden exeplified this affirmation, is the country wich less spent in food (15,77%) but have the highest expenditure in Leisure and Education (3,22%). In ascendent order based in Food expenses are Sweden 15,77%, Spain 18,8%, Italy 16,36%, Ireland 28,8% and Turkey with 32,14%. Meanwhile in Leisure and Education (same order) Spain 1,98%, Ireland 2,21%, Italy 3,28%, Sweden 3,22% and Turkey 4,35%.

On the other hand, Clothing and Footwear keep his place in the middle of the other two categories with a slightly inclination spend less, almost all five countries have a percentage that wave between 5% and 7%,the only exception is Italy with a 9% of expenditure, second place goes for Turkey 6,63%, third Spain with 6,51%, fourth is Ireland 6,43% and the last one is Sweden with 5,4%.
