The table shows the data about contributing of oversea students into the economy in US from 2005 to 2015, and the bar graph compares the amount of international students from China, India and South Korea in the years 2005 and 2015,
As an overview, international student’s economic contribution increased significantly from 2005 to 2015, there was a considerable change in the amount of students from three countries to US, especially China.
According to the table, the amount jumped from 10,1 billion dollars in 2005 to 15,6 billion dollars over the 5-year periods. Then, rate of growth of economy in US based on abroad students rose more significantly in the last 5 years of this period, it climbed by 20 billion dollars. In the bar chart, we can see clearly that the number of students from three countries was lower than 100 thousands, the highest one was India and lowest was China in 2005. Come to 2015, the amount of Chinese and Indian students increased rapidly with over 350 thousands Chinese students and over 200 thousands Indian students, this amount was higher three times compared to Korea.
