The railway route in London was 394 kilometers, nearly 100 kilometers longer than the second longest route 199 kilometers in Paris. Although only 155 kilometers was constructed in Tokyo railway system, 1927 million passengers used this system every year, which was in the first place. The underground railway in Washington DC was 126 kilometers with 144 million passengers per year. Kyoto and Los Angeles only had 11 and 28 kilometers with 45 million and 50 million passengers.
