the table below highlight data on the number of travellers using three major British airport between 1998 and 2003 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The table provided illustrates the amount of passengers departed in three Britons airports over the six-years periods. It is conspicuous that Gatwick was the most visited airport in almost all the years periods given. Additionally, it showed an upward figures trend from 1998 to 2003.

Specifically in 1998, Gatwick was visited the most by 36.5 millions of travelers a year compared to Heathrow that used by 27.2 millions and Stansted by 17.3 millions. In the next three years, all of the airports reported an increase in the number of its visitors. Surprisingly, Heathrow had replaced Gatwick to be the most departed airport in that year while Stansted remained the least visited airdrome among others.

In the remaining periods, the number of passengers used Heathrow declined gradually. Although it rose again at the end of the period, it still could not defeat the figures of Gatwick visitors which continue to increase up to 69.3 millions of people. The Stansted visitors remained stuck at 43.3 millions passengers until 2003.
