Overall, it is clear that United States had the highest number of temporary migrant employees in all the period. While New Zealand is the nation having the lowest volume of workers throughout the period. Moreover, New Zealand ranked the first position in the number of these workers per 1000 people in 2006, the opposite was true for United States.
In 2003, the number of temporary laborer in United States was 65.000 people, nearly 9 times higher compared to the figure for New Zealand, and fourfold to that of Australia and United Kingdom. In 2006, employing migrant workers in four nations were increased, around 87000, 266000, 219000 and 678000 people.
Meanwhile, New Zealand had the highest number of workers per 1000 people in 2006, at 21.1, nearly twofold to that of Australia. In the meantime, the figure for United States and United Kingdom only reached at 2.3 and 4.4 respectively.
