Overall, Asia was the largest region when it comes to the production of cocoa beans, while Africa produced the least amount of them. With the exception of Asia and Oceania, others’ figure was witnessed with many fluctuations throughout the examined years
There were 46000 tonnes of cocoa beans made in North and Central America in 1992, this figure then nearly declined in half, at 25000 in 1994 and grew back to the same tonnes of beans as in 1992. The figure for Africa was lower with the exception of the year 1994 when this nation made 29000 tonnes of cocoa beans in the beginning year but ended up at 25000. The greatest amount of cocoa beans was made in Asia which had its figure rose significantly till it reached the highest data with 436000 tonnes in 1998
In 1992, there were merely 40000 cocoa beans produced in Oceania, subsequently, this figure was seen with a continuous increase to 76890 tonnes in 1998. South America also produced a vast number of these beans when there were 143000 tonnes was made in this region. Although in the later period, this figure was witnessed with a nearly 30000 decrease in 1996, it grew up to 389000 tonnes in the final year. England’s cocoa beans production was also modest when there were 56000 tonnes was manufactured in 1992, after many fluctuations finally it stayed at 49000 tonnes in 1998, which was 8 times lower than that of South America
