The table below shows the salaries of secondary high school teachers in 2009

Essay topics:

The table below shows the salaries of secondary/high school teachers in 2009.

The given table illustrates the data on salaries that secondary or high school lecturers earned in five distinct countries in 2009.

As can be seen from the table, teachers in Luxembourg registered the most well-paid, while the opposite was recorded in Australia. In terms of time to get the highest salary, teachers in Denmark took the shortest time.

As is illustrated, the salary paid for teachers in Luxembourg started at 80,000 dollars per year. In Denmark, the figure for teachers was remarkably lower than in Luxembourg (47,000 dollars), while in other countries it was just about 30,000 dollars.

At least 15 years of experience, Luxembourg still had the highest salary with 112,000 dollars per teacher, while teachers in Denmark and Korea at the same level of experience earned 54,000 dollars and 52,600 dollars respectively. The maximum salary in Luxembourg was 139,000 dollars, by contrast, teachers in Australia and Denmark were paid approximately 48,000 to 54,000 dollars. It is worth noting that tutors in Australia and Denmark need just about 10 years to reach the top salary, while other countries had to wait for 30 years or more.
