The presented table below provides the data on sales of four products available in a coffee shop of a commercial building on a normal working weekday.
Overall, the maximum number of consumers recorded for pastries and coffee was in the morning time. Whereas, in the evening time, the people preferred sandwiches over pastries.
In the morning time, most people are headed to their respective workstations, therefore, demanding a breakfast meal in which most consumers preferred coffee and pastries, as around 265 pastries and 275 coffees were sold. Followed by tea and sandwiches sold about 110 and 50 during this time. Another thing to notice here is that following this is mainly the brunch time of day so people preferred to consume heavy as well as a light food. As, for the next four hours of the day, it is recorded that people like to prefer sandwiches followed by pastries to eat, as around 200 and 95 were sold respectively, whereas in drinks coffee was more preferred over tea.
The next three hours of noon from 14:30 to 17:30 recorded sales of 145 coffees and 150 pastries which was a decent quantity of sales, but tea was least sold about 35 only. In the evening hours of a particular weekday, people who visited the shop, bought 200 coffees and 110 sandwiches, but it is evident that at this time of the day tea and pastries were not preferred that much.
