The table illustrates, global notebook computer market share for main six companies and others in three distinct years. Units are measured in percentage of market share.
Overall, HP comprise of overwhelming majority of market share in all the three years. Whereas, fujitsu account for least level in the table. Most significant growth represents Dell in three consecutive years that ten percentage increase from 2006 to 2014.
Manufacturing companies like Toshiba and Lenova has relatively same growth in 2006 around 6.2 and 6.6 respectively. However, there were a small proportion of decline for lenova to 6.2% after one year, but toshiba has more than one percent prompt as compared to lenova and reached to 8.12% in 2014. Nevertheless, Lenova come back to the share market with 7.3% by 2014.
Regarding others types of manufactures has a lead role when the starting of 2006 with 22.8%. While, there were a gradual decrease in the market 19.3% in 2007. After that market share dip into 7.11% when share closing period. Moreover, Notebook manufacturing makes up samsung in better market share on 2006 with 11.6%. Eventhough, there were around one percentage reduction in market share later one year which shows a dramatic growth in manufacturing share by 2014 with
14.20%.
