The table give information on customer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.
The table compares five distinct nations in term of 3 types of customer expenses in the year 2002.
It is clear that in all described countries, customers spent the most for food, drink and tobacco. On the other hand, leisure and education was the item receiving the least expense.
As can be seen from the table, in Turkey, the proportions of user expenditure in two type of demand - food, drink, tobacco and leisure/education were in the top of 5 compared countries, at 32.14% and 4.35% respectively. Ireland followed in term of food, drink and tobacco with 28.91%, approximately 13 time higher than spending for leisure and education.
It can be seen that Sweden has the lowest percentages of national customer spending for both food/drink/tobacco at 15.77%, and clothing / footwear, at just over 5%. On the contrary, Italy was the country having the highest percentage in clothing/ footwear, raeching 9%. In spite of higher figures in these items, Spain had the lowest figure for leisure and education, at nearly 2%.
