The table illustrates how much money was donated by charities in the US, EU and other countries to assist several nations in terms of technological development between 2006 and 2010.
Overall, it is evident that the total aid given to technological support increased over the period given. It is also observed that the USA donation was considerably greater than that from any other country.
In 2006, A total aid of $15.7 millions was given to support the technology, which continued to rise to $24.4 millions two years later. Followingly, the aid suffered a mild decrease to $23.5 million before climbing to a new high of $28.1 million in 2010. US charities stood out as the leading position with a rise in the aid from $9.8 million in 2006 to $20.3 millions.
Likewise, contributions from the EU and other countries also witnessed a significant increase. Donations from EU charities grew from $3.1 millions in 2006 to $3.6 millions in 2009, rising steadily to $4.1 millions in the following year. Following the similar pattern, the charities in other countries gave $2.8 millions and the aid then rose slowly to $3.5 millions in 2008. At the end of the period, the donation reached a peak of $3.7 millions after a drop in the previous year.
