From 2008 onward, the figures for other nations decreased by 0.2% before seeing a significant turnaround to 3.3 billion dollars in 2010 whereas there was an increase of 0.2% in the figure for EU countries.
Over the given period of 4 years, the US witnessed a dramatic increase to 22.7 billion dollars in 2010, which tripled the total amount of money spent by two other categories surveyed. Finally, in 2010, the total money of nations worldwide doubled its figures in 2006.
