The prices of sales are explained by millions of Euros of Fair trade. At the first glance it is evidence that UK made sales of Fair trade predominantly for coffee and Switzerland was a country with the highest sales of bananas in 1999 and 2004.
Turning first to UK which had the greatest growth sales of coffee, increased significantly from 1,5 millions of Euros in 1999 to 20 millions of Euros in 2004. The highest sales of coffee in 1999 was Switzerland by 3 millions of Euros, then the price of coffee in 2004 was double bigger than 1999. In Denmark, the sales of coffee was 1,8 millions of Euros in 1999 and grew 0,2 millions of Euros in 2004. The price of coffee in Belgium climbed slightly from 1 millions of Euros in 1999 and 1,7 millions of Euros in 2004. In addition, the sales of Fair trade of coffee in Sweden was the lowest among both in 1999 and 2004 which were 0,8 millions of Euros and 1 millions of Euros respectively.
In terms of bananas, 15 millions of Euros of sales in Switzerland in 1999 which was the largest among all and rose sharply to 47 millions of Euros in 2004. Beside that, the sales of bananas in UK were 1 millions of Euros in 1999 and 5,5 millions of Euros in 2004. But, the reductions of cost of bananas were in Denmark and Sweden. In Denmark, the price of bananas declined from 2 millions of Euros in 1999 to 0,9 millions of Euros in 2004. While, Sweden accounted 1,8 millions of Euros in 1999, then fell to 1 millions of Euros in 2004 for bananas. But, In Belgium the price of bananas increased from 0,6 millions of Euros to 4 millions of Euros from 1999 to 2004.
