The line graph shows visits to and from the UK from 1979 to 1999, and the bar graph shows the most popular countries visited by UK residents in 1999.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

apparently the line graph gives infromation about the number of the UK residents going embarked from the UK and overseas residents visiting the UK over the period given above. Also the bar chart gives some infromation about how many UK residents have travelled to the most five trendy and popular countries in the 1999 knowing that the units of measurements are in millions.
Overall, the amount of people who visited the UK gradually raised over the years. the same trend can be noticed in the british people who went aboard. the chart mentioned some information about france that they are the most popular country to visit by the UK residents in 1990.
In 1979, from about 13 to 20 million british travelled to forgein contries. on the other hand the numbers of trips taken aboard by the UK residents rose beyond the given period and reached the high of about 50 million visitors in 1999. Otherwise, the number of the non-UK residents visiting britain reached for only ebout 27 million in 1999.
France was the trend country to be visited by british peopple, it saw approximately 12 million visitors in 1999. which where about 3 million more than spain. noticing that less than 4 million UK residents travelled to the USA, Turkey and Greece although Turkey was the least popular with nearly 3 million british tourists.
