A glance at the provided table illustrates the information about the proportion of bicycle riders in a city in 2011 by five different age groups and by gender. In general, it is clearly apparent that the most frequent age group who rode bicycle were the youngest group while the 40s and 50s cycled the least compared to other age.
Looking in more detail from the table, under 10 group showed the highest proportion in bicycle utilization with similar percentages for female and male at 51.3% and 50.5% respectively. Following the youngest group, the adolescent group (10-17 years old) rode bicycle at 24.6% to 42.2%. However, the percentage of male adolescent were only half of the female.
