Essay topics:

The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by particular UK schools in 1981,1991 and 2001.

The three pie charts below depict the yearly fluctuations in expense proportion of the United Kingdom's school in the years 1981, 1991 and 2001.

Overall, it can be manifested that schools had increased their spending throughout the years on things like insurance and better infrastructures to ensure safety, however they had cut down other expenses like paychecks and library costs.

Firstly, Schools had given the most priority to the safety features and that's why there was a significant increase in the cost of insurance, wherein it was just only two percent in the year 1981 and after a decade it solely increased by one percent(3%), interestingly there was a dramatic transition in the year 2001, where it surpassed the previous years spending and got more than double of all years which stands at an eight percent.

Secondly, the school had cut down the other expenses throughout these years, library expense was at the priority followed by other workers salaries, who were mainly affected by the expense decrease, in the year 2001 spending on the books and libraries were decreased by eleven percent (9%) from the previous decade 1991 which was at 20%. The earnings of teachers had been least affected by this change of spending and it had only 5% of the difference in the year 2001 which is 45% from the year 1981 (40%), however, the spending on wages of other workers in the year 1981 was 28%, interestingly each decade it decreased by average 6% which was 22% in 1991 and 15% in the year 2001 respectively.
