Essay topics:

Too much emphasis is placed on testing these days. The need to prepare for tests and examinations is a restriction on teachers and also exerts unnecessary pressure on young learners.
How far do you agree or disagree with this view?

With a common view to judging the students' quality, nations have different ways to approach the issues. However, examinations deem to be emphasized heavily, leading to limitations for teachers and exceeding pressure on young pupils. Personally, I totally agree with this statement and an explanation would be given in this essay
With regards to teachers, testing methodology plays a considerable role in their work, nevertheless, this puts restrictions as well as pressure on teachers. People can hardly find out a better assessment than through examining students, which gives frank and objective results. Nonetheless, examinations bring the teachers a lot of restrictions including building the tests and marking them, which is the problem of heavier workload along with higher pressure. For instance, in most Vietnamese schools, each class has lots of students, meaning that teachers have an equal number of assignments to gauge. What’s more, focusing on examinations set a limitation on teaching methodology applied in a limited number of lecturers. In other words, teachers are forced to build up their lessons surrounding testing skills and based knowledge rather than activities incentivizing students exploring themselves.
Furthermore, students, particularly young ones, are worse affected by the enormous quantity of tests during school time. No sooner do children start attending primary schools than they have to struggle with various tests evenly. Having crammed with many a subject and different types of examinations, it is not overstated that studying turns out to be a burden for kids to bear that may result in kids’ depression and physical deterioration.
Overall, nobody can deny that tests and examinations play a very important role in the betterment of any education system. However, governments and schools should take advantage of the method of an appropriate level to balance its pros and cons.
