The line graph illustrates the quantity of questions that one particular Tourist Information Office received through different ways: direct communication, letter/email and telephone during the first six months of 2011.

Overall, the enquiries received via direct communication and telephone increased significantly over the period, while the number of corresponding questions saw a considerable decline.

At the beginning of the span enquiries in person made up the lowest figure, at under 400, among the three channels. However, it rocketed dramatically, exceeding the number of questions by letter/email in March and by telephone in April and reaching approximately 1900 in the end of the period. The quantity of questions by telephone, on the contrary, was the highest, at about 900 in January, but then experienced some fluctuations and picked at 1600 in June, which was lower at around 300 enquiries than questions asked directly.

The number of enquiries by letter/email accounted under 800 in January. It fell slightly in February and remained steady until March, then it saw a dramatic decrease over the next two months and hits its lowest point at just under 400 enquiries, declining by half. In the last month of the timescale it reached a plateau.
