TOPIC: Many young people who leave school hold a negative

attitude towards studying. What is the cause? What can be done about this problem?

In recent years, the quantity of school leavers holding a negative attitude
towards studying has inclined dramatically. Many people perceive that this
obstacle is created by many reasons related to awful education system. I
believe that the government can take step to combat this
potential issue by several appropriate remedies.
There are a vast number of factors which lead to this these negative
consequences. The foremost reason is that it is compulsory to study many
subjects which seem to be trivial in many students’ perspective because they
think that those subjects may not be applied in their future occupations, hence
many students are against learning those subjects. Secondly, the school
curriculum and education system are often demanding and cutthroat that many
pupils find it stressful and exhausting because of being required to do a huge
number of assignments and projects on the daily basic. For instance, one of
my classmates committed suicide after being put under academic pressure as
she had to complete too many schemes related to biology for her professor.
However, this offence can be mitigated by many pragmatic measures. The
primary solution is that the number of unnecessary lessons and subjects
should be reduced; hence, it may be more beneficial for the students with
their education. The next appropriate remedy which should be adopted is that
teachers need to change their teaching technique and make the lessons to be
more appealing and captivating, thus the students can have the motivation to
focus on study. Take my English teacher as an example, he usually
organizes many fascinating games related to the lessons that his students can
understand them like a piece of a cake and improve their English level
because of being offered opportunities to practice not just theoretical lessons.
To conclude, although more school leavers tend to dislike learning due to
many undeniable reasons, this propensity can be tackled by implementing
feasible solutions.
