The two maps below show the changes in the town of Stokeford from 1930 to 2010.

Presented are the two illustrations depicting several significant changes which have taken place in Stokeford town in the 80-year period commencing from 1930.

Overall, the town has witnessed numerous changes with the most noticeable being the disappearance of two farmlands and the erection of a number of houses.

In 1930, there was a post office and two shops near the river named Stoke; however, till 2010, just the post office stayed unchanged the other has been converted into houses. The farmland in the bottom left corner of the town was replaced by houses.

In the top right corner, the farmland was demolished and replaced by the primary school and the place where people live near there was expanded. In the middle of Stokeford, there were some large houses and gardens in 1930, on the contrary in 2010, they have been transformed into a retirement home and the area for nearby houses also spring up.
