The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010
The maps illustrate the development of road around city hospital for three years since 2007. It is immediately apparent that there are the significant alterations in terms of amenities and infrastructure during this period.
Regarding the year of 2007, it is clearly seen that city hospital –in the north area– was surrounded by ring road which was integrated to city road by means of hospital road having three couples of bus stops along the way. Following this, there was car park which was addressed to public and hospital’s employee.
Subsequently, three years later, the infrastructure experienced a considerable development in form of the road. There were two roundabouts located on each side of hospital road –connecting ring road and city road. In addition, all bus stops were removed and were replaced by bus station placed to the west of hospital road and linked with two roundabouts. The last alteration occurred in the car park that was divided to be two part; car park for staff and car park for the public. While the former is situated in the initial place –to the eastern hospital road–, the latter is put behind the ring road and to the west of hospital road.
