The two pie charts below show the online shopping sales for retail sectors in Canada in
2005 and 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.

The provided charts depict the proportion of online sales of Canadian retailing in 2005 and 2010.

A first glance at the charts reveals that while the figures for food and beverage as well as video games increased over the 5-year period, the figures for the other two sectors exhibited a drop.

It is explicitly obvious that in 2005, food and beverage section took a large slice of the pie chart with 22%, 5 years later, it increased to 35% . As for the video games sector, the figure rose from 18% to 23% over 5 years.

A quite different picture can be seen in two other sectors. Home furnishings sector accounted for 25% in 2005, then, in 2010, it decreased to only 15%. In 2005, electronics and appliance accounted for the majority of the protion of the online shopping sales for Canadian retailing, with 35%. However, in 2010, the figure decreased by 5% making food and beverage the highest sector.
