In respect to local calls, it started at over 70 billions minutes in 1995 and gradually rose to exact 90 billions minutes in 1995, before declining to the same level as that of 1995 in the final year.
On the other hand, National and international calls via fixed line constituted just below 40 billion minutes in the start, after which it consistently progressed to reach a high of over 60 billion minutes in 2002. All calls by mobiles stood at just below 5 million minutes in 1995 to show a steady rise till 1999, when it tripled to just below 15 billions minutes. Following this, mobile calls dramatically grew to approximately 45 billions minutes in the final year.
