The Pie Charts illustrate the typical expenses made by household on six different category in a county in two different years, 1950 and 2010.

By 2010, food contributed to approximately one third of total expenditure at 34% by witnessing a significant rise of three times over 60 years. Similarly, a five fold, a four fold and a two fold rise were experienced by other, transportation and healthcare resulting in 19.2%, 14% and 4.5% respectively. On the other hand, proportion of expenses on housing declined dramatically by almost 50% to rest at 22 %. Change in the money spent on education was unremarkable as it stood at 6.6 % in 1950 and 6.3% in 2010.
