Write about the following topic:

Computers are often argued to be the most important invention of the last hundred years. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

In the era of cutting-edge technology, computers are an essential key for humanity to develop our society to be more modern and convenient. without the existence of computers, there would be unable for global citizens to enjoy thousands of entertained materials, a huge database of knowledge and the wireless connection between people and government. that is why I sustainably agree that computers will and forever keep its value as a remarkable invention in the world.

First of all, education will be my ultimate choice for my explanation about the importance of computers. Especially in the pandemic of COVID-19, computers are critical not just students living in affected zones but teachers in different areas as well. when face-to-face teaching is restricted, online software such as Zoom, Microsoft Class and more is an alternative and effective choice for schools and universities. computers have helped thousands of students and learners in many countries and regions to share their lessons and knowledge without struggling with long-distance and institutions.

Secondly, I will discuss the economy as the most well-known purpose of computers in this field. In industrial activities, the programmes installed on the computer are being used widely in producing any products we can imagine and importantly, most of the processes are automatic. More or less, the decrease of using labours will allow companies to save thousands of dollars and increase production. Moreover, some careers that people do not have enough strength to do such as exploring the virus. creating robots, exploring the planets from thousands of kilometre and more are being solved by our computers. The more efficient computers can explore, the more advanced knowledge we have.

technologies are the trend of the globe and no one can avoid it unless they came from Ice Age. it is the truth that computers, somehow, makes some troubles when we are lost the ability to solve the basic problems by ourselves instead of checking online. Nonetheless, we can not waste our time to count how far is each planet in the galaxy by hand and ruler, modern advancements must be developed and the state leaders have responsibility for supporting and cooperating with technological companies because not just the economy is improved, healthcare and welfare services will improve to benefit our citizens.
