You are studying for a qualification, and you would like some time off work to complete it.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
Ask for some time off to complete a qualification.
Suggest what you will do later at work if you have time off.
Say how the qualification helps your job or company.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to request some time off work to complete my part-time qualification. Let me explain the situation in detail.
To elucidate this is an evening course for three months designed especially for the working professionals, therefore, I request you to allow me to leave the office early around 5 pm. To compensate I would be coming to office early around 8 am instead of 9 am so that the ongoing projects are not affected. Additionally, I am willing to work from home on weekends to cover any pending work. Although it will hectic for me however the course will not only help me to acquire new skills but on the other hand enable me to design cost-effective networks for our customers. Furthermore, once I get certified on link budget tools like INPT and Sat-master pro I would be able to do link analysis for existing as well as the new network which will help the company to reduce operational costs on the networks.
I look forward to your response and approval on the same.
Yours sincerely
Saad
