You recently heard about a business conference that you would like to attend. Write a letter to your manager and explain
- What and where is it?
- Why do you want to attend it?
- How will it be helpful to you and the company?
Dear Sir,
Many thanks for giving me an opportunity to attend a training session on the ‘Communication Skills’. While attending a session through “Pragati Learning Institute”, I came to know that they are planning to organize a business conference cum training program on the ‘Project Management Skills’ in the coming days. This is the main reasons why I am writing to you now.
As the training is free for first 50 participants, I need your help to communicate to other project teams on our floor, so that our company can send maximum number of employees to take the advantages of this conference. Moreover, I need your permission, so that I can enroll my name in this conference.
The conference will start from 2nd Jan and will run up to 10 Jan 2016 at Newton Hotel that is very close to our office. As the course is being designed in such a way that training would be conducted in the first half and second half is devoted to solving real practical problems appearing in a project. Thus, it would give me a chance to learn as well as implement the best skills of Project Management. Obviously, once I would be back from the conference, I will arrange a session for our team for the best practices shared to achieve success on a project. Probably, this could also help us to deliver better quality work to our clients.
I am looking forward to hearing soon from you.
Yours faithfully
Rahul
