The Bar chart provides the information of the Southland’s exports of three major sectors in 2000, 2021 and with further projections for 2025. Overall, the total revenue of exports from International tourism and Dairy products soared up while declining trend displayed by the meat production sector throughout years.
Firstly, International tourism consistently increased from about 8 billion pounds in 2000 to just under 10 billion predicted in 2025. In 2025 tourism sector reach to its peak revenue in exports. Meanwhile, the dairy sector dramatically surged up 3 millions approximately, in between 2000 to 2021. In 2021 Dairy products are the most benefiting sector which has around 10 billions of revenue. However, after its apex the sector will lose around half billion pounds of revenue in prognostics for 2025.
In contrast, the revenue of Meat products from exports has steadily decreased commencing from 6 billion pounds in 2000 to estimately 5 billion pounds in 2025, which will be the least revenue in all other two sectors.
