Dear Sir,
I am writing in order to express my disappointment on hearing the news that the Alwar city council is planning to pull down "The Bala Qila Fort". I would like to explain the importance of this historic fort and provide an elucidify of the facts as to why this building should be renovated? and additionally, suggest a plan to raise funds so that the city council is able to maintain the building.
As you are aware that the Bala Qila fort was built by the Emperor of Alwar in 1500 BC at the top of the Aravali hills. The fort on the hill-top is one of the major tourist attractions and allures tourist globally due to its unique architecture and particularly the use of red marble and historical paintings of our rich culture. Additionally, from the fort, the visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Aravali range and the Alwar city. Since the fort is a heritage of our rich culture and glorifying past and additionally it could be used to boost the local economy thus it should be renovated. I would suggest a few changes which can help in the revenue generation like the introduction of entry tickets for tourists as well as local visitors moreover the local business around the building could also contribute so that such funds could be used to renovate the fort and beautify its surroundings.
