Essay topics: You have recently gone to live in a new city.
Write a letter to your English-speaking friend. In your letter:
• Explain why you have gone to live in the new city
• Describe the place where you are living
• Invite your friend to come and see you
Hi John,
I am sorry that I have not written to you for so long, the reason is that I have recently moved to Dallas. As you know, I have been working in the same company for almost eight years in the same position. Frankly, I even started to think about changing my work. Fortunately, I was promoted and now I am a head of a department but to get it I had to move to Taxes.
Anyway, I rent a huge two-story cottage with a small garden and huge car garage for two cars. The neighborhood is calm and my novel office is situated around the corner. There is almost everything you may wish for having a comfortable life from a big shopping center to a gym with a water pool.
Before I finish this letter, I would like to invite you to visit me this summer. I promise that you will be having a good time, of course, you may stay in my place; there is a plethora of room and all needed facilities are located nearby.
Hope that you accept the invitation.
Your friend,
Eugene.

Essay evaluation report
The neighborhood is calm and my novel office is situated around the corner.
description: 'which corner'? is not clear
flaws:
1. try not write a lot of 'that'
I am sorry that I have not written to you for so long, the reason is that I have recently moved to Dallas.
revised:
I am sorry for not having written to you for a long time due to my recent move to Dallas.
2. try not to use a lot of adverbs in the beginning, like:
Frankly, I even started to think about changing my work. Fortunately, I was promoted and now I am a head of a department but to get it I had to move to Taxes.
Anyway, I rent a huge two-story cottage...
it made the sentences not smoothly.
