You have recently gone to live in a new city.
Write a letter to your English-speaking friend. In your letter:
• Explain why you have gone to live in the new city
• Describe the place where you are living
• Invite your friend to come and see you
Dear Anne,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to you to explain why I have moved out to another city. Please allow me to elaborate on my situation.
As you know, I have been working as a Legal Assistant at Mann Associates which is located in Toronto. Also, my previous town was almost 50 miles away from my workplace. Thus, I have moved to Toronto with all family members. Moreover, there are many things to explore such as outdoor and recreational activities and a lot of eateries. Inclusively, it has famous for multicultural diversity and it provides an opportunity to know about different traditions and languages indeed. Nevertheless, the public transport is well established from every nook and corner in such city.
What is more, we have planned to celebrate the birthday of my spouse on the last Saturday of this month. So, I would be greatly appreciated if you could come to visit at my place.
Hoping to see you soon,
Harrie
