A friend (Ms Sara) of yours is going on holiday soon and has asked you to recommend a destination.
Write a letter to your friend and recommend a good place for a holiday that you have visited before.
Say where you went, where you stayed, what you can do there and what the food was like.
Dear Sara,
It is always pleasure to hear from you and I am very happy to know that you are planning a holiday in next month. I remember that last time when we mat you mentioned about you plan to visit places outside United Kingdom. I can certainly offer wisefull advice on travel.
Knowing that you are pursuing a degree course in history and have interest in visiting historical places, I would recommend you to plan for India. I have been to India four times and I must say that there is still a lot to cover. As you might be aware that India is comparably much bigger county than U.K and it can’t be seen in one trip. Therefore, it is required to focus on one part and I would suggest you to consider North India this time. Delhi is capital of India and I visit every time. Also, world famous monument “The TajMahal” is just 180 km from Delhi which can be covered in a day. Though, there are many five star hotels India, you may consider “International Youth Hostel” in Delhi.
The best part of being in India is to get an opportunity to tasty different styles of food. Initially British people do not like the food especially spicy one but food quality is superb and it is cheap as well. Do not forget to eat South Indian food mainly Dosa and different kinds of Chutney.
I hope that you would find the information useful and share you experience from India.
Love,
Kalla
