A local college is having an international day. You want to speak to students about your country from different cultures. Write a letter to the college head.In the letter, you should:tell him/her about the topics you are going to talk aboutwhy would they

Dear Sir or Madam,

This is Azhar and I work as a T&D Manager in a multinational company whose head office is in the same vicinity as of the Kent college. It is also important to mention that I am a recent alumnus of your institute. During my course of study, I have observed that the majority of the faculty and the students were unaware of the culture of my country of origin, India. So, I wish to address the attendees and share the information.

Following the preliminary agenda, I would start with the historic background of the country and how it got influenced by different outside invaders at different times. In addition to that, I would also spend some time on the local language and how it came into existence. The third point of the talk is going to be about the local traditions and the diversity of cultures and its’ impact on local cuisine.

In my opinion, the above-mentioned agenda points will be liked by the audience as most of the pupils are studying history and geography at college. This talk will give them a new perspective about my country as they will hear such things for the very first time from a native, unlike the information they might have got earlier from media and news.

I wonder if you could provide a projector so that I could present some slides which contain pictures of the local events and customs. If not, please let know at your earliest convenience so that I could arrange it by myself.

Thank you for allowing me to participate in this event.

Yours sincerely,
