A local college wants people with a job to come and talk to students about what it is like to work. You would like to come forward and talk to the students about your job.
Write a letter to the principal of the college. In your letter,
• explain what you would like to talk about
• say why students would be interested in your job
• suggest a possible date and time for the talk
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is John Smith, the senior customer manager of Digikala corporation, and I am writing this letter with regard to giving a talk to would-be new job seekers of your college students.
Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to describe the shift from student life to work life in conjunction with a few life-changing decisions that I made immediately after graduation. How to find the best job prospects is my second main topic that I tend to discuss.
As a matter of fact, my speech will pique most students’ interests as some ideas, such as the most straightforward ways of increasing your chances of being hired after college, and how to get accustomed to job atmosphere and how to adopt official manners at workplace, are being delivered.
Finally, in terms of the schedule of the symposium, I would recommend the second half of December as the final examinations of students are over. My own preference is December 25th in the afternoon. I am sure these future employees will love the material and capitalize on the given advice the most. please contact me via email about the exact date and time of the seminar.
I am looking forward to hearing from you,
Yours faithfully,
John Smith
