One of your friends recently had a birthday celebration, but you missed it and you forgot to tell your friend that you couldn’t attend. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:– explain why you missed it– explain why you didn’t

Dear Igor,

I hope the letter finds you in the best of health. I feel so embarrassed to write to you at the first place. I know you would be feeling dejected as I did not come to your birthday party. Allow me to elaborate.

You and I have been friends for almost half of our life. In addition, I am sure that you won’t have even an iota of doubt about my sincerity towards you. I consider you my family and would in no case had missed you birthday. However, on your birthday while I was about to leave from my house I received a phone call from my cousin who told that my aunt was hospital, after having met with an accident and needed blood transfusion. As a result, I had to rush to be at their disposal.

Furthermore, I could not inform you as I had forgot to charge my phone and was not carrying my auxiliary cable to charge it.

Finally, I am aware that you would be annoyed with me. But, please empathize with me. Moreover, I have decided to take you out on lunch next week to make it up to you for missing a big day of your life.

I hope you will forgive me.

Yours faithfully,
Brad Jason
