The chart shows the results of surveys in one African country asking teenagers the main reasons for using their phones between 2016 and 2019.

The pie graphs shows what activities the teenagers in one African country used their phones for during a four-year period from 2016 to 2019.
In general, most of the teenagers joined the social networks and the trend increased each years. It is worth to mention that the number of teenagers taking photos by digital camera went up annually while writing emails and phone-calling became less common in the same period.

The usage of social networks always contributed the most in four graphs, at 50%, 48%, 51% and 56% from 2016 to 2019 respectively. Email-writing was the second popular activities of teenagers when using phone, contributed a quarter in 2016. However, during the four-year period, the demand for this activity reduce gradually, from 25% to 24% in 2017 and 19% in 2019.

In 2016, the number of teenagers using digital camera came third of the list, at 15%, followed by the figure of phone-calling at 10%. In the next four year, there is an increase in number of teenager using digital camera, by 4% in 2019. Meanwhile, the phone calls were experienced a reduction through out the period, reduced to halve of the number of its in 2016.
