On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:
1. Describe the item you lost
2. Explain how you lost it
3. Tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.
Dear Manager,
I am writing this in concern about the terrible experience I had during my business trip to America.
During that trip, I have lost some of my wealthy belongings that are valuable not only for their coasts but also for their memorial aspect. These loss items are my laptop and my DSLR camera that was in my backpack and also my suitcase with some clothes and some gifts for my family such as a wristwatch, a mobile phone, and one newly bought hand blender.
Last week, I had a meeting for my project in America. At the airport when I received my boarding pass, I found that there are some technical issues in the plane hence, I was shifted to another airplane. I was having only my carry bag with some document such as passport, my license and a little money. At the destination’s airport the airline staff assured me that my belongings were safe and would be sent to my reserved hotel as soon as possible until 8:00 pm. When I enquired from the airline’s staff they apologized for losing them.
Dealing with the circumstance in mind, I hope you will rectify my losses by full refund of the expenses of my missing items to buy them again. I am waiting for your response.
Yours Faithfully,
Jot
