Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing a letter to make a claim on the travel insurance – AX23850 for the luggage lost on 5 August.
I was travel to Japan to attend a conference on 5 August and take a flight from Japan Airline. I found that my luggage was lost when I reached Japan airport and asked the lost department of Japan Airline to help me find the missing luggage as soon as possible.
I lost is a dark brown leather suitcase with a black handle which contained my laptop and indispensable business documents are in the suitcase. The brand of my laptop is ASUS ROG and it is 14” in black colour.
Two days later, Japan Airline reported to me that my suitcase still cannot be found and suggested I claim with my travel insurance. My laptop cost is 5000USD and the suitcase is 100USD while according to the travel insurance, the maximum claim of valuable items is 6000USD. Therefore, I would like to claim 5100USD.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Chris Wong
