In some countries, children are under certain restrictions based on their traditional values. Whereas, other countries do not have the same scenario and children are free to do almost anything. As, teenagers are the future of the country, their growth and freedom is an important factor. So, the children should follow some rules but to a certain extent.
To begin with, children who follow strict rules, will have limited mental growth and their ability to think will be severely affected. They will not be able to think critically and take their own decisions. Their judgement abilities will not be effective due to which it will be difficult for them to chose between right and wrong. To cite an example, Indian teenagers are not allowed to go out without the permission of their parents and even most of the times, their parents decide what they gonna do for earning money in future. This leads to discontent in work they do which in future affects the economy of a country.
However, children who are free from any kind of restriction, sometimes follow the wrong path. They often start taking drugs due to a bad company. Further, this thing spoil their future and they never focus on anything, therefore fail to become a productive and responsible citizen. To exemplify, in many western countries, children live away from their parents and as a result, they often do drugs and drinking. These habits adversely affect their health and even create an bad impact on surroundings. So, being too lose is also not a good option.
From analyzing both the aspects, it can be clearly evidenced that children should follow some rules, but not to an extent that affect their freedom of thinking and to chose right for them. Children should take their own decisions but under the guidance of their elders, friends and teachers.
