Essay topics:

Someone has returned your bag with all its belongings that you recently lost. Write a letter to thank that person.

In the letter, you should:
thank him/her
describe how you left your bag
explain why its belongings were important to you.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to you for returning my lost bag.

I have travelled from New Delhi to Chandigarh last week by train. I was too tired and fall asleep halfway. Finally, when I disembarked from the train, I had forgotten to pick my bag. But it was too late to get inside again.

I tried to reach out railway office but they had no information about this. I was really tensed as my bag had some of my important belongings such as confidential business documents, car keys, passport and driving license. I am lucky that the bag went into right hands, otherwise, It would have been a troublesome situation for me. It would be my pleasure to pay the shipping cost you have borne to deliver it to me.

Once again, thank you so much for this kind gesture.

Yours faithfully,
Ell Green
