I am writing this letter to let you know about the issues in the public transportation in my locality. For the past two weeks, residents in our neighborhood have been facing difficulties in commuting to different places from home. Since Metro Rail maintenance is going on for past few weeks, many people in our area find it difficult to commute in the morning and evening during rush hours. There has been very less frequency of buses to nearby places and business districts, which will affect the travel of everyone including office goers and students. In order to solve this problem, we request you to arrange for more buses during peak hours to commute, until the metro terminal maintenance project completes. This in turn will not only facilitate the transportation but also reduce the traffic, since many would opt to travel in public buses instead of using their own vehicles.
