Dear Counsellor,
My name is Shikha Sharma and I am a resident of DN Nagar.I am writing this letter to draw your attention about discomfort we are facing due to the water-logging outside my house.This is causing inconvenience to us and others also.
This time, due to heavy rain,the condition has worsoned.Last year also,I complaint about the same and I was being told that it will get clear this year.But,unfortunately no steps has been taken so far.Moreover,lack of proper drainage system causes lots of float on the roadway.For many days,it remains as it is and no one bothers to carry.This results in a bad odour in the entire vicinity and is a compromise to hygeine.Also,street lights are very poor.Majority of the time,particularly in the night;when needed most,they don't work.This could be dangerous during monsoon especially.
Therefore,I would request you to re-construct the road by keeping above points in mind and provide enough lighting during night. In addition,it will be great if a team can work on improvement of a drainage system.
