There is a public park near where you live. You have heard that local council wants to sell this park.
Write a letter to a local newspaper in your letter:
Introduce yourself
Describe the importance of this park
Say what action you will take if the council continues with its plan
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to request you to revise your decision of selling the common park of bank colony.
My name is Vikas, and I have been a resident of the bank colony since last seven years. I am extremely satisfied with the work that has been done by you so far for the development of our society. However, I and other residents are little disappointed to know that local government has decided to sale this park to a businessman for the construction of a mall.
This park holds a lot of importance in our day to day life as it serves the best place for the people of your locality to socialize themselves. In addition to this, a group of people visit this park every morning to carry out their meditation and exercise routines. Further, parents feel this park to be the safest place for the children to play in the evening. Hence, closing this park will disturb the daily routines of people.
I would like to mention that if the decision of selling the park is not reversed, I along with other residents have to highlight this case into media to draw the attention of our state government.
Looking forward for your cooperation in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Vikas sharma
