Write a letter to a friend to ask for his/her help to collect money for a charity organization. The letter needs to cover the following details: -Why do you want to collect money for the charity organization - -Ask for your friend to help -Explain in detail how your friend can help
Hi Matty,
I hope you are doing fine today.
I am writing a letter for your assistance in collecting money for a charity organization which I am due to start by the end of the week.
You probably do not know that currently, I am working as a volunteer member of the organization called “ feed the children” for the past 10 months. The charity organization has a target to feed over 1 million children by 2019 but running out of cash; therefore, I decided to take part to collect money to meet the above-mentioned target.
In this regard, I would like your help with this noble cause. You could help me to collect the money from the northern London because you are known to the people out there. Therefore, your reputation would help the organization to collect handsome donations from the area. Perhaps, you could help me to organize a fundraising seminar as you have an exposure in the field of event management, so hopefully, we would able to attract a large audience.
Please let me know if you are interested to take part, so we can catch up and chalk out the plan in the details.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours truly.
