Write a letter to a friend telling him/her that you’re going back to your home town and you want to give him/her some furniture. Please say
– why you thought about him/her
– describe the furniture
– suggest a way for him/her to get it
Dear John,
I'm writing to inform you that I'm going to join my family business back in the home town. You can take some of furniture items from my apartment since you were looking for a study table and chair few days ago.
Since I knew that you were in search of a small size study table and chair which could adjust in study area of your apartment. As I am going to move back to my home town so you can have these two items with you.
This set was bought by me from an old market and it has antique design and colour. Secondly it will be easily adjustable because of its round shape. Also, you liked and praised it a lot when i bought it.
I will leave the city at the end of this month therefore you may come to my apartment to take away the items. Otherwise, you can avail the service of local delivery but in that case you will pay the charges.
Inform me about your plan on early basis. Looking forward to seeing you at my place.
Your friend,
Syed.
