Write a letter to the local council about the poor condition of roads in your area. Include the following in your letter:
– Explain the situation and roads’ condition.
– How does it affect you and other people?
– Suggest what measures need to be taken, in your opinion.
Dear Sir,
I am James, resident of South End Avenue, Brampton. On behalf of residents of my area, I am writing this letter to raise my concern about the condition of roads of my area. Although, the main roads of our are good but the inner roads within the Blocks of South Avenue are in pathetic situation. There are lots of pits and pots in the roads and there are no proper signage's installed at sides of the road. There is no marking done about speed lanes and zebra crossings at junctions.
The situation is getting more and more bad day by day. It is very difficult for daily commutators due to poor roads. Poor condition of roads leads to road accidents and traffic jams. Not only this noise and air pollution increases in our area because of the congestion of vehicles. It becomes very difficult for students and elderly people to use these roads. Sharing my personal experience, last month due to rainy season the condition of roads got really pathetic and my motorcycle got slipped and I got hurt.
I would suggest you that please assign some representatives to visit our area and make an inspection report about condition of roads. Kindly allocate some additional funds because there roads needs immediate repair and maintenance so that people of our area can commute smoothly.
Hope you will take this matter on the top of your priority and take necessary steps correct this situation.
Thanking you in advance.
Your faithfully,
James
